New Version of QUESTION32.MDB

Background

All of the information for problem modules and questions is included in this file which is located in the C:\dictate\data subdirectory. This includes not only the built in questions and problems, but also any new custom questions and problems that the end user might add. The number of problems modules has more than doubled - from 42 to 88. The number of available questions has also increased from 224 to 355.

Installation instructions

The method of installation of the new file will depend on two factors: whether you are upgrading to version 10.02 of the program at the same time and whether you have done extensive customizations of your problem modules and questions. Simply replacing the old version of the file with the new version will allow you to use all of the problem modules and questions but you will loose any custom problem modules and questions you have added. With this in mind, here are the installation instructions:

CASE 1: You are upgrading to 10.02 and you have NO questions/problems you want to save

Use Windows Explorer and find the file C:\DICTATE\DATA\QUESTION32.MDB and rename it C:\DICTATE\DATA\QUESTION32.bak.

Go to the downloads page of this website and do the instructions for:

Full installation of ENT Medical Dictator, version 10.02

This will automatically copy over the new version of QUESTION32.MDB.

CASE 2: You are NOT upgrading to 10.02 and you have NO questions/problems you want to save

Download just the QUESTION32.MDB file and replace the old version.

download QUESTION32.MDB now (size = 380 KB)

CASE 3: You have questions or problems you wish to save
